Implant Removal Hello! I have been on this website non stop reading other reviews which was very helpful. I am hoping my experience will be helpful to others. I didn't see many stories about having the removal under local anesthesia so here is mine. I have had my silicone implants in for 5 years. 375 cc, Mentor high profile on each side and under the muscle. I am 29 and weigh about 120 - no kids. There is nothing wrong with them, in fact, I think they look great . I do not have any BII symptoms. I am getting them removed because I feel very top heavy, my back hurts and I am a lot more active now. I also have a hard time fitting into shirts my size. I have to size up which makes the rest of the shirt baggy. I really don't care to have big boobs anymore.. My consult was virtual due to COVID, and I decided to get them out under local anesthesia. It was a lot cheaper with same results. I had my pre-op yesterday 9/21 and paid my fee. Scheduled for 10/6 ! Well they are out! I arrived to te appointment very nervous but the doctor and nurse made me feel really comfortable. The original scars were numbed up . The pain of the injections was a 3 out of 10. Getting numbing at the dentist hurt more. I felt no pain only a little tugging. The whole thing took about 40 minutes . It's about 4 hours later and I have no pain or soreness yet. I did not take any meds. I am able to move around just fine. My breast look better than expected but a little soft and saggy. I will keep documenting as the hopefully fluff up! They firmed up a bit more but still seem a little saggy. I am measuring at 32B. The tape at the bottom has not fallen off. Not sure if it's because it's not healing quick enough or not. I have my post up next week. No regrets at all. My neck and shoulder pain is almost gone. Post-op appointment went great. Doctor said everything was fine and scars are good. cleared me for exercise. Highly recommend Dr. Sisco and staff. I am very happy with my results.
I was referred to Dr.Sisco last year by my gyno and I will forever be grateful for that. Dr.Sisco and his team were amazing, from the day of consultation all the way to my post-op appointment. Clear communication, genuinely cared, guided me through the process and followed up with me after surgery. Let me also not forget to mention how my results really exceeded my expectations! I was referred to Dr. Sisco in November of 2019 by my oncologist. Right off the bat, Dr. Sisco and his team showed great care and genuine concern for my health. This was my first time enduring a procedure of this magnitude, and Dr. Sisco did a wonderful job of thoroughly answering all of my questions while calming my anxieties. Before and after having the operation, a large concern was about how I would feel confident with such a large change being made to my body. Now, when I look in the mirror I realize that my fears were in vain. My breast looks very natural and it's almost symmetrical to the other breast. As a young black woman, I am aware that our pain is often overlooked by healthcare workers. I am relieved to say that this was not my experience with Dr. Sisco and his team! If you are feeling nervous about undergoing this procedure, I highly recommend working with them. They are very patient, understanding, and dedicated to their job. They care for the total you!!!

Dr. Sisco did my breast re reconstruction and ear reshaping in November 2019. (FYI, my original breast reconstruction was in 2002.) I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Not only do I look great, but Dr. Sisco was a pleasure to work with. Never once did I feel rushed; Dr. Sisco took the time to answer all my questions, big and small. I always felt heard. We worked together to achieve MY goals. Highly recommended!
I’m 15 days away from a year since I left it up to Dr. Sisco to work his magic.. I have to say I’m very blessed that this man was put into my life! He’s such an amazing doctor, with great bedside manners. I am beyond happy with the results of my double mastectomy and diep reconstruction and so is my hubby, “wink wink” Thank you so much Dr. Sisco for making me look and feel better than what I did before I walked into your office. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever. I would choose him all over again if I had to do it again, for those of you looking, look no further, he’s the man!

I was referred to Dr Sisco after the birth of my 13th child. I dealt with years of near constant backaches due to having developed a separated abdominal wall. I am SO glad that I found a competent plastic surgeon and I could not be happier with my results! I highly recommend Dr Sisco.
Dr. Sisco is a phenomenal surgeon. I recently had surgery to repair a significant diastasis recti separation, umbilical hernia and excess skin removal. I am petite, and my singleton and twin pregnancies did a number on me. From my very first visit, I felt at ease in his office. His staff are friendly and quick to respond. After my surgery, the nurses were all very helpful and supportive. It was always easy to schedule appointments and scheduling my surgery was smooth as well. I couldn't be more pleased with my final results. I recently had my 5 month post-op appointment and told Dr. Sisco that he gave me my life back. I'm pain-free from my hernia, have strength and support in my core, and finally feel whole. I'm grateful for doctors like Dr. Sisco, who make you feel comfortable with all of your questions, fully support their patients in their medical journeys, and improve the quality of their lives by expertly fixing their areas of need.
